Acer palmatum dissectum - Red Filigree Lace

Overview
This is one of the most unique dissectum cultivars. Foliage is purple in spring, lightening to red in autumn. Red Filigree Lace has very finely dissected leaves, possibly the most of all the dissected cultivars. Lobes are 6-8cm long and 7-9cm wide with each measuring only 1mm at its base. This cultivar was found by William J. Curtis, Oregon, USA in 1950.
