Omurayama is suitable for large gardens because it is a tall growing, vigorous grower that forms a rounded head with branches drooping down on a mature tree. Leaves are 7 lobed, slender and deeply divided with finely serrated margins. Leaves reach a length of 7-8cm and a spread of 7cm. Colour is green throughout spring and summer, becoming gold/crimson in Autumn. Introduced by Koichiro Wada, Japan, 1938.
