Kamagata is densely branced and has a delicate appearance, which makes it desirable for bonsai use. Lobes are five lobed, widely seperated with sides curving upward - forming a trough shape. Leaves reach 4-5cm in length with a spread of 6cm. Leaf colour is green in spring, which will carry on through summer before becoming gold in Autumn. Selected by J.D. Vertrees, Oregon, 1970.
