Acer japonicum - Green Cascade
Overview
This is an excellent example of the Japonicum group. Spring colour is a rich green, becoming orange in autumn. Green Cascade typically has 9 lobes and is 8-10cm long and wide. Each segment (lobe) is completely seperated to the centre of the leaf with the width of each segment measuring only 1mm at its base (not much more than the vein). This cultivar was introduced by Arthur Wright, Oregon, USA in 1955.
